Noa Verborgh: At The Wunderwall Antwerp
Noa Verborgh (°1997, Antwerp, BE) is a self-described professional dreamer who invites others to share in the wonder she discovers in the extraordinary. With an MA in Fine Arts from LUCA School of Arts in Ghent, she now lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium, where her diverse inspirations—ranging from symbolism and folklore to classic cartoons—spark an endless curiosity that transforms her studio into a playground of ideas. Drawing on everything from ancient mythology to quirky 1970s recipes, she infuses her work with the elements that bring her joy.
Primarily working with oil and acrylic paints, Noa’s visual language centers on color and monumentality. She revels in weaving narratives together, yet prefers to leave some parts unsaid, inviting the viewer’s imagination to take part in completing the story.
