As we have noticed a larger growing group of collectors who are specifically looking for young and emerging artists, we have moved this format into The Wunderwall.

The Wunderwall is an online gallery that organizes a physical exhibition every six weeks. This platform ensures that artists can show their recent work to the public and forms common ground between emerging artists and young collectors, who are looking for new discoveries.

And the rest is history

The Wunderwall was initially founded as a collaboration between Gallery Sofie Van de Velde and PLUS-ONE (now known as PLUS-ONE Projects). While it started as a joint initiative, The Wunderwall is now fully operated by Gallery Sofie Van de Velde.

Gallerists Sofie Van de Velde & Jason Poirier dit Caulier started their art collection already in their twenties. By collecting smaller and therefore affordable works from different artists, their collection became an eclectic mix of sizes and colors. Imagine paintings, drawings, photographs and editions hanging criss-cross on the wall. They called it their "wunderwall".
